Another book by Dary…

InfoSec lessons can be directly or indirectly learned from a variety of sources. Reading widely will broaden your opportunities.

I just finished reading True Tales of Old-Time Kansas by David Dary. It is a quick and entertaining read, with tales about trails, treasure, the law and people. There are stories about Abraham Lincoln, adventures on the Santa Fe Trail, buried treasures near Seneca, KS and the general rough life in the 1800′s in this book.

If you enjoy reading about life on the prairie, you would do well to pick up one of David Dary’s books. One night when it it snowing and blowing outside, sit in front of the fire and spend some time getting lost in the past.

You can see the list of what I’ve been reading at www.dlstrom.com/what-im-reading/.
